Security
The Harvard University Police Department is an important resource if you are lost, locked out of your building, or in need of help of any kind. HUPD can be reached by picking up any of the blue-lit telephones located on various Harvard buildings. When the red "emergency" button is pressed, your call will be sent immediately to the University Police station. Ask your bellhop to point out the nearest emergency telephone when he or she shows you to your rooms.
Your registration packet will have a room key and a swipe card for access to your dorm room. You should lock your rooms at all times. It is suggested that you leave valuables at home.
