Sons and daughters are requested to eat before 8:30 am so they can join their groups in time for their first activity.

SIX FLAGS NEW ENGLAND

Counselors will meet the Orange/Young Adult and Green Groups outside of Memorial Hall to walk down to the Gordon Track at 8:30 am. Busses depart the Gordon Track at 9:00 am SHARP. Don’t forget your swimsuit! Busses depart Six Flags at 3:30 pm. Meet up with your parents in front of Thayer and Holworthy Halls for the all-family “Taste of Harvard Square” dinner.

SING-ALONG WITH MUNCKIN MAN

Yenching Auditorium, Two Divinity Avenue

Grape and & Rainbow Canary Groups meet at Lowell Lecture Hall at 8:30 am. Then proceed with counselors to Yenching Auditorium to enjoy a morning sing-along with James Alder, the Munchkin Man, from 9:30-11:00 am. Please note that Grape HQ in use 9:00am-4:00pm for Harvard Extension School Graduation.

CANOBIE LAKE PARK

Red and Blue Group meet your counselors outside of Memorial Hall to walk down to Gordon Track at 8:30 am. Busses depart from the Gordon Track at 9:45 am SHARP for a day of fun rides and games.

Busses returns for Harvard at 3:30 pm. Meet up with your parents in front of Thayer and Holworthy Halls for the all-family “Taste of Harvard Square” dinner.

CHILDREN’S MUSEUM

Street for the Children’s Museum in downtown Boston for an afternoon of hands-on fun for the Canary and Grape Group! Enjoy a picnic lunch at the museum when you arrive. Children’s Museum tour begins at 1:00 PM. Busses will depart from the Children’s Museum at 3:30 pm to Quincy/Sever Gate. Grape Group meet up with your parents in front of Thayer and Holworthy Halls for the all-family “Taste of Harvard Square” dinner when you return. Canary Group parents meet children at Lowell Lecture Hall Basement.

CHILDREN’S DANCE PARTY

Science Center Classroom 469

After lunch from 11:15-12:15 pm, the Rainbow group children with their counselors will travel from Lowell Lecture Hall Basement to a Science Center Classroom to enjoy a dance party with Amanda Meek. Please note that the Headquarters' will be in use from 12:30-3:30 pm.

Science Center Tent

Enjoy the delicious tastes of Harvard Square. The flavors of Bartley's Burgers, Elsie's, the Hong Kong, Pinocchio's Pizza and Bailey’s Ice Cream are being served in the Science Center Tent.

MAGIC SHOW

Lowell Lecture Hall

Grapes and Canaries meet your group at 6:30 pm at Lowell Lecture Hall and watch an exciting magic show with Bonaparte the Magician‘81. Afterwards, night sitters and babysitters will accompany children to their rooms

MOVIE NIGHT AT THE OMNI THEATER

Museum of Science

Red, Blue & Green Groups meet your group at 7:45 pm in front of your group signs by Thayer and Holworthy. Busses depart at 8:00 pm SHARP from Quincy Street/Sever Gate for the Omni Theater at the Museum of Science to see Hurricane on the Bayou. Learn about the Louisiana wetlands and witness the devastation caused by hurricane Katrina. Narrated by a 14-year old fiddle player affected by the storm, the film is both inspirational and educational. Busses will bring you back to campus around 10:30 pm. Counselors will see you to your rooms.

BOWLING

Sacco Bowling

Orange & Young Adult Groups meet your group at Thayer and Holworthy. Take red line subway with your counselors at 7:30 from Harvard Square T Stop to Davis Square for an evening of pool, bowling and games at Sacco Bowl Haven (45 Day St., Somerville, MA). Groups will leave with their counselors for Cambridge at 10:00 pm.
