Be prepared for a very full day. Busses depart at 6:45 pm SHARP for Symphony Hall and will not be held for latecomers. Also, please note that busses for the afternoon activity will depart from the morning activity and children will NOT return until dinner time.

Sons and daughters are requested to eat before 8:30 am so they can join their groups in time for their first activity. Afterward, Rainbow/ Canary, Grape, Red, Blue, Green and Orange please meet at your group headquarters at 8:30 am to begin the day’s activities. Young Adult Group please proceed to Loker Commons.
PBHA COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT
Red, Blue & Green Meet at Respective
Headquarters
The Phillips Brooks House Association (PBHA) has organized community service projects for the Red, Blue and Green Groups on Friday morning. PBHA is a student-led service and social change organization at Harvard College with 73 programs that serve over 10,000 people in the Boston area. Two student leaders from PBHA's Environmental Action Committee, Aubrie Pagano and Ashley Mannetta, have led the planning of these exciting activities.
The Blue and Green Groups will proceed from their HQs to Science Center A at 9:00 am for a PBHA movie “The Cost of Cool,” faculty presentation and recycled paper making activity. Interested students will write letters to Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, thanking her for printing book seven on recycled paper. Following, the Blue and Green Groups will then proceed to the Gordon track at 11:00 am. There they will make recycling boxes to be used during the reunions, followed by a quick lunch before leaving for Crane's Beach.
The Red Group will remain at their headquarters for recycling games, activities and presentation. The presentation will be from Philip Kreycik from the Resource Efficiency Program (REP). The Red Group will also work on creating recycling boxes to be used throughout the reunion.

Loker Commons
Young Adult Group will meet at Loker Commons at 9:00 am to decide on the daily itinerary. Take a walk around the Square, visit Harvard Museums, or see your director for suggestions.
ADMISSIONS
AND FINANCIAL AID SYMPOSIUM

Orange Group and parents attend a symposium entitled “Everything You Always Wanted to Know About College Admissions and Financial Aid.” This symposium provides insight on the application process for American colleges and universities. Panelists include: William Fitzsimmons ’67, Dean of Admissions; Sally Donahue, Director of Financial Aid; and Marlyn McGrath Lewis’70, Director of Admissions.

Lowell Lecture Hall
Rainbow/Canary and Grape Groups enjoy a performance by Boston’s hottest magician, Bonaparte!! He will astound and amaze you with his many tricks. Please note that Lowell Lecture Hall (Grape Group HQ) is in use from 12:00-3:00 pm.
NEW ENGLAND AQUARIUM
Red Group board busses after community service at Quincy/Sever Gate for a picnic lunch in Columbus Park and a visit to the Aquarium from 1:00-3:00 pm. Busses leave at 11:30 am, and return for Memorial Hall Circle at 3:30 pm.

KID’S PLAYGROUND
Canary Group busses depart from Lowell Lecture Hall for the Kid’s Playground 12:00 pm. The Kids Playground is an indoor playground extravaganza with open play space and the largest configuration of tubes and tunnels in New England. Children will have lunch at playground. Busses leave for Quincy/Sever Gate at 3:30 pm.
PBHA COMMUNITY SERVICE
The Phillips Brooks House Association (PBHA) has organized a tour of the Genzyme Building, which is Harvard’s energy producing plant, as well as other green buildings around Harvard. Tour guides will meet the Orange & Young Adult Group at the Kirkland Courtyard after their lunch at 12:30 pm. After the tour, interested children will write a letter thanking the Harvard administration for their work towards sustainability so far and encourage them to keep to the same path when building Allston.

CRANE’S BEACH
Blue and Green Groups depart from Gordon Track for Crane’s Beach. Spend the afternoon relaxing and playing on one of the most beautiful beaches in the Northeast. Don’t forget a bathing suit, towel and sunscreen! Busses leave at 12:30 pm and return for Quincy/Sever Gate at 3:30 pm.

Red, Blue, Green, Orange & Young Adult groups and their counselors head to the Baseball Field Tent, in the athletic area, for dinner. Shuttles depart to athletics from Quincy/Sever gate.

Big Joe the Storyteller will entertain the Grape and Rainbow Canary groups with a show of laughter, surprises and shared fun in Lowell Lecture Hall. Children will be escorted back to their rooms.

BOSTON POPS
Following dinner, the Red, Blue, Green, Orange and Young Adult Groups board busses promptly at 6:45 pm to head to Symphony Hall for the Boston Pops. Children are seated with their groups in the second balcony, parents sit on floor level. Busses depart Symphony Hall for Quincy Street/Sever Gate at 10:00 pm. Children MUST travel back to Cambridge with their groups.
